Shenzhen Qizhuan Technology Co., Ltd ("we", "us") operates the Cosmic Horizon app. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to processing your personal information lawfully, fairly, and only as necessary. Please read this policy carefully before using the app. By tapping Agree or continuing to use the app, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.
We collect only what is necessary for the features below. See the in-app Personal Information Collection List and Third-Party Sharing List for details.
If you do not agree to this policy at first launch, the app will not start the Firebase data collection described above, and you can still use core features such as browsing the universe map and searching for celestial objects.
The app currently does not request location, camera, photo library, microphone, contacts, or push notification permissions, and does not obtain GPS coordinates through device location services. Browsing the universe map, searching for celestial objects, and viewing their information do not depend on these permissions. Firebase network communication and IP-based coarse geographic statistics do not involve requesting device location permission; see Section 1 for details.
To provide analytics and crash diagnostics, we integrate Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) provided by Google LLC, and, after you agree, share with it the device and app information and usage records listed in Section 1. Its privacy policy is available at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy. We do not otherwise share, transfer, or publicly disclose your personal information to third parties, except as required by law or with your separate consent.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, after which it will be deleted or anonymized, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
We apply industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, use, alteration, or loss. Please understand that no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure; we strive to protect the information you provide.
You have the right to access, correct, supplement, delete your personal information, and to withdraw consent. The app has no account system and does not require you to provide identifying information such as your name or phone number:
The app is intended for general audiences and is not directed to children under the age of 14. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are under 14, please read this policy with your guardian and use the app only with your guardian's consent. If we become aware that we have collected a child's personal information without the prior consent of a guardian, we will delete it promptly. Guardians with questions about their child's personal information may contact us below.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the latest version on this page and update the effective date; for material changes, we will provide notice through appropriate means. Your continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
